BCS Travel B.V. is insured with Hiscox for professional liability, general liability and cyber risks. Every coach we deploy is operated by a licensed carrier with its own compulsory passenger insurance. A certificate of insurance is available on request.
1. Who Is Insured
BCS Travel B.V., the company behind BCS Bus, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK 66460085), VAT NL856563523B01, Radarweg 29, 1043 NX Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
2. Our Insurer
Our business insurance is underwritten by Hiscox (Hiscox SA, Dutch branch), a specialist insurer, and placed through Insify, a Dutch insurance agent registered with the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM).
3. What Our Cover Includes
- Professional liability (errors and omissions): financial loss caused by errors or omissions in our services, including carrier selection, booking, planning and coordination.
- General (public) liability: injury or property damage to third parties arising from our own business activities.
- Cyber and data liability: protection against data breaches and cyber incidents, including incidents involving client information.
4. Passengers On Board
BCS acts as a disclosed agent: the journey itself is performed by an independent, licensed carrier (see our Terms & Conditions). Every coach, minibus and van we deploy is operated by a carrier that holds the compulsory motor and passenger liability insurance required by law in its country of registration. This is the insurance that covers passengers during the journey.
We work only with carriers that hold a valid operating licence and insurance for passenger transport.
5. Where Our Cover Applies
Our insurance covers the services we provide for group transportation in Europe.
6. Certificate of Insurance
Schools, universities, companies, event organisers and travel agencies often need proof of insurance for their own procurement or risk assessment. We can provide a certificate of insurance on request. Email booking@bcs-bus.com and mention your booking or quote reference.
